Hey everyone!  It would be certainly interesting to learn how one’s choices of an ice cream flavour would be related to their zodiac sign. Here is an insight. :)

Aries: The pioneers of the zodiac, Arians are born leaders.  They are generous, and have physical courage, which are given to him by Mars, their ruling planet. The Ram lives life with no regrets! These foodies really need a lovely dessert to cherish their experience. Rocky road ice cream would complement their passionate side and leave a trail of bliss! With dollops of chocolate, gooey marshmallows and nuts, rocky road is sure to keep the adventurous Arian wanting for more.

Taurus: Often attributed to endurance, the true blue Taurean is full of perseverance and persistence. French Vanilla, simple and sensual is sure to be relished by them. Since they love to relax, rejuvenate and live by self indulgence, this flavour is sure to charm their senses! Offer a Taurean a bowl of French Vanilla with mild toppings like a swirl of chocolate sauce with a cherry or two for the perfect ice cream, they will melt with gratitude.

Gemini: Known as the jack of all trades, a Gemini is always ready to experience anything and everything in life. These individuals are naturally outgoing and possess a sparkling wit. They would generally opt for a social flavour like an amaretto. Since versatility seems to be their key, a scoop of these flavours coupled with a movie would put them on a pedestal, grinning wider for an additional scoop! Be sure to have the best time over a scoop of ice cream.

Cancer: Sensitive, shy and secretive defines a typical Cancerian. The inherently moody Cancer is highly family and home oriented. This sign is feminine in nature; hence strawberry ice cream would be a reflection of their personality- soft and subtle! Dairy products being their favourite, would not only make them feel heavenly but would also make them feel that they are in a happy environment as a happy environment is of utmost importance to a Cancerian.

Leo: The magnetic and charming personality of Leo attracts many followers as they make life fun and exciting for everyone! They are truly gifted with flamboyance, self-confidence and loyalty. Libra: Libra is all about balance. They prefer indulgence over temperance. All things rich are what a typical Libran swears by. Give them a bowl of raspberry ice cream and see them make it extravagant by means of their creative juices. Don’t be surprised when you see the ice cream topped with a few cherries, a wafer and chocolate sauce being their all time favourite! You are sure to enjoy a long conversation over ice cream with this social animal!

Scorpio: Scorpios do things wholeheartedly. They have a soft corner for their sweet tooth. A scoop of cappuccino ice cream will enhance their culinary journey. This flavour merges with their unique and mysterious personality. The rich coffee experience will be forever cherished by Scorpios! Interestingly, many Scorpions rely on coffee to help their bodies match their minds. Thus, a scoop of coffee ice cream personifies their personality!

Sagittarius: Sagittarius is representative of true optimism. They are the ones who really love life and are happy about it. They are known for having the most dignified palates in the Zodiac. A wholesome flavour with a few toppings is what they would prefer to indulge in. A scoop of butter pecan would be ideal as it satisfies a Sagittarius’ appetite hence giving a signature ending to their meal. They just love to have these little treats!

Capricorn: Capricorns are the most sincere and hardworking of the twelve zodiac signs. They would run errands to get even a simple task done. They would love to savour the fruit of their work by experimenting with their culinary delights. Give them an exotic flavour. Cookies and cream or mango and passion fruit will leave a trail of contentment in them. These subtle flavours will boost their mood luring them into a state of complete bliss!

Aquarius: Aquarians firmly believe in living, learning, loving and experiencing everything at first hand. Their food choices would be different, eccentric and unique. An Aquarian would likely opt for a scoop of Macadamia nuts due to the fact that it suits their versatile personality. As a matter of fact, these people are very experimental with their culinary needs. So, don’t be surprised when you don’t see them opting for a scoop of vanilla or strawberry.

Pisces: Soft, sensitive and sappy personifies a Pisces. They like to keep it special yet staying true to their feminine and soft persona. Their ice cream preference would indeed reflect the same. A berry based ice cream is the epitome of femininity and a Pisces would definitely relish this flavour. Be sure to have a cup of summer berries and cream or even some cake batter ice cream as they love to keep in touch with their creative side as well.

“The Jewellery World!”

To be quite candid, this is an out of the blue topic that I received from my readers.  I do not have a command over this subject like I have over Fashion and Occult Science. Nevertheless, this post will give you an insight into what a career in the “Jewellery World” holds for individuals interested in any aspect of jewellery.

It is presumed that being a jewellery designer is the most lucrative and safe choice for a career in this field. There are individuals who do not enjoy the process involved in creating a design for a ring, necklace, pendant or any other ornament. This does not pose to be a barrier at all. In this article, there are an array of choices that suit one’s flair, interests and needs.

A person is very conversant with what is happening in the jewellery world right from the latest collections, the latest designers on the block to the tastes and preferences of the individuals on a geographical platform- a Jewellery Merchandiser is the apt choice. It would give the concerned individual a clear insight into the working of this industry and also an opportunity to explore their talent.

Bringing things to life and making them desirable for everyone, if this is what someone swears by, it fits the Visual Merchandiser’s hat! That’s not about it. A visual merchandiser has an arduous task to make even the little pearl stand out and leave a trail of sheer brilliance and creativity.

Heard of a jewellery consultant? They are not salespersons, but, individuals who have an expertise on the various precious stones, which creation is suitable for which occasion and definitely if the creation suits the individual's persona! Interesting!

Marketing and advertising is where someone’s interest lies. Well then, clothes, businesses and job recruitment are not the only fields where marketing and advertising are a prime requirement; the Jewellery World needs to be marketed by these panel of experts who would reach the masses. To elaborate more on jewellery marketing, the concerned expert must study consumer behaviour on a large scale and cater to them keeping their tastes and preferences in mind.

What's my Zodiac Fragrance!

 This post is all about which fragrance would be in sync with your Zodiac Sign! Sounds interesting? Have a read! :)

I was asked by a few people whether a fragrance can make a difference.  I was speechless!  And remarked, go try it out. :)

Aries:

Originality and a self-assure nature run in your veins! Being a leader is what gives you contentment. Your instincts earn you those extra brownie points thus making a wonderful first impression. So, a fragrance that will grab your attention and revitalise your sense would be bright citrus ones like Orange and Bergamot! Rose is a good pick too! :)

Taurus:

A true Taurean is a very homely person. They appreciate love and beauty and love it to bits. Being so, they will be on cloud nine by using gourmand and floral fragrances. These fragrances will not only boost their mood but also ease the possibilities of getting angry or feeling insecure at times.  Surprisingly, usage of these fragrances, over a period of time, will guard Taureans from being misjudged as stubborn or authoritative. :)

Gemini:

Driven by cheerfulness and an easy-going personality, Geminis fragrance would be an epitome of charm owing to the fact that they are gifted with a sense of charm and wit! Geminis yearn for social interaction and excitement so an unusual fragrance with contrasting elements would be a perfect buy! Opt for something lavender, citrus or flirtatious. ;) You will instantly know the one, thanks to your brilliant senses! :)

Cancer:

Governed by emotion and sensitivity and constantly craving for stability and care, watery notes like marine and chamomile is a perfect choice. In addition, warm fragrances like Vanilla, white rose and germanium would be heavenly! Jasmine is a great choice too. The choice of fragrances by a Cancerian throw light upon their set priorities in life- affectionate relationships with family and close friends given the fact that they are lovable as well as loving. ;)

Leo:

Born leaders, strong and dignified! That is a typical Leo. They tackle tough situations with ease and emerge victorious. Leos are caring, warm and straightforward. Mysterious and alluring individuals, they are innately artistic and sometimes exist emotionally rather than rationally, instinctively more than intellectually. They are also versatile and receptive to new ideas and atmospheres. Artistic and independent, Pisceans are drawn to unusual notes. They should go for rosemary, fresh berries, musk or amber! Trying their hand at a pineapple fragrance would be nice! :)

Indian Wear!

I was quite amused when I learnt about Indian Wear and its raging popularity overseas as well! Nonetheless, Indian wear is beyond the salwars, sarees, lehengas and ghagra cholis.

Weddings are an exciting event to be a part of. And, most of us have been a part of cocktail parties. We look around and we see that most of the young women are in a Classic LBD and a south sea pearl neck piece.
My comments: Beautiful LBDs that exude vibrancy and grace coupled with that South Sea Pearl Neck piece. Treat to the eyes! Is it not? :).

Picture this: A young woman walks in a "Saree Gown." Yes, you may be less acquainted with this term. Yet, a saree gown is a paradoxical mix of fluidity and construction, the new silhouette combines the six-yard staple's classic structure with the practicality of the zipped-up gown. Here's a picture. :)






You may remark that you can't get over your undying love for salwars and anrkalis. Have you thought of sporting the embroidered jacket anarkalis?! They are quite conventional in demand and is a great choice for a festive season like Diwali or Raksha Bandhan. Or, wear it at a function. Also, if you are running late for a wedding and you just don't have the time to drape that saree, don the jacket anarkali. Here's a sneak-peek.






Assuming that neither of the above appealed to you or all of the above are tedious and difficult to sport. Go for Georgette tunics, they are trendy and have a youth appeal. :). Here is a look:

My take on Fashion as a Career:

Sure you like to design and play with colours! Nonetheless, can you make it your career? And, what scope does Fashion have besides designing?

Here is the answer. :)

It is quite possible to make it a career. You can surely intern with some labels and contribute your ideas in the making. In the process, develop your own line when you have ample capital and support.

A career in Fashion is not confined to DESIGNING. There are areas of specialization. Such as, Marketing, Merchandising, Editor of a Fashion Magazine and a Fashion Blogger in combination with being an online retailer. Quite diversified!

I'm often asked these questions:

Can these be bread and butter for a Good Lifestyle?

Why not? When it comes to Merchandising, you can advise designers to sell their collection and share the profits and revenue. To substantiate, it is like a financial analyst/ ad-visor giving inputs on investment ideas.

As a Fashion Designer, you can definitely earn a higher margin of profit by simply planning your production cost wisely such as procurement of raw materials and use of labour. 

Fashion Marketing!

" It's all about creating a trend and executing your creation."

Just like the Half-Saree trend set by Manish Malhotra's line that drew all Fashionistas to don it with poise, grace and elegance.

Your next question would be whether writing and giving inputs to a Fashion Magazine make a good living.

My answer to your question is: Can a company or an entity do without a Human Resource Manager? Your opinion is Oxygen to the Magazine. In addition, you get perks and opportunities to be a guest of honour at events where you are free to express yourself and practice being a private consultant and help your client look Gorgeous! Isn't that lucrative?

You have got a taste of Fashion as a career. Why not implement it if it interests you and  gets your fashion sense wondering? :).

Fashion!
A word synonymous with Style, Word and Glamour. But, why is Fashion the talk of the town of late? Simply because of the fact that social events like a get-together, a themed wedding and  birthday parties are gaining prime importance when it comes to Fashion.
Haven't you been questioned about what you would be wearing at the party or who would you reprise during Halloween?! To be even more realistic, will you be looking forward for your favourite personality's  ( It can be a public figure) wardrobe at the event?
In perspective, Fashion is how YOU carry your Ensemble without MUCH concern to what's in " Vogue." And, one doesn't need to be a millionaire to be a Fashionista! 
I believe that Simplicity and Creativity personify a person's Panache!
